Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG)

Flexibility and performance wherever you are.

VTG

What is VTG?

VTG gives you the power to maintain a large engine operating range across a wide range of environments. For example, long-haul locomotives save up to 4% on fuel in varying temperatures and altitudes.

In a nutshell, VTG reduces fuel consumptions and emissions.

How it works

VTG helps control the boost pressure that a turbocharger delivers to the engine. This way, the air-to-fuel ratio can be adjusted for different conditions. Giving you optimum boost wherever you are.
